EAA 393 October Social Event At The Greenery Restaurant In Walnut Creek October 25th, 2020 @ 5:30pm

Greetings to All,

I hope this message finds you in good health and good spirits-now that the smoke is gone, we can now take a deep breath of clean air!?
Lucy Hart and Pete Mitchell have gone scouting for a place for our chapter to meet in person and swap flying stories. This month they went to The Greenery in Walnut Creek. Please see the attached email from Lucy for her description of the restaurant. We are making reservations for Sunday the 25th at 5:30. The weather should be a bit cooler, so we ask for the balcony with the option of eating inside if it is too cold to eat outside. Please RSVP to lucyhart552@...?if you would like to attend.
Please note that the regular EAA Chapter 393 general meeting will be held on October 28th at 7:00 via Zoom.?

Hi Ron,

Pete and I just got back from the Greenery Restaurant on Marchbanks Dr. in Walnut Creek. It was a balmy night and just perfect weather. We sat out on the balcony, which had seven tables on it, socially distanced. The food was good and it was a delightful experience, watching Mt. Diablo until it got dark and then seeing some lights. We thought it would work for our group if we can reserve the whole balcony so we can talk amongst ourselves. I'll let you talk to Pete about it and then make a decision?about it. The restaurant told me yesterday they will reserve places for groups. I can check with them tomorrow if they will let us reserve the balcony. It was Saturday night tonight and it wasn't full. So, hopefully, they would let us reserve?the balcony.

Let me know tomorrow what your thoughts and if I should try to reserve the balcony for the 25th.
