You might want to look at the OXA for your Dalton. I would only consider the AXA the correct size for the Dalton 9. The AXA is a bit large for the Lot 6 and way to big for the Lot 2 3 4 and 5 lathes.

The repeatability is the whole point I guess.? If you have to tinker with it every time, then you may as well just use a traditional post. Appreciate all the advise.

I concur with Dennis on the wedge versus piston offerings. The alignment and repeatability of the wedge type is much better than those with pistons. Ask me how I know this.... :) Dan wrote:
