DXKeeper database

Is it possible to put the database on a cloud drive. So it can be accessed on more than 1 computer, I ask because sometimes I use my
laptop via a dongle when out at temporary locations and would like to keep just the 1 log

+ Yes that's possible, but you must ensure that only one instance of DXKeeper is running at any point in time. Before starting
DXKeeper on your laptop, terminate the instance of DXKeeper running on your main computer, and vice versa. Some ops doing this with
DropBox (a cloud storage service) have reported synchronization errors, so configure DXKeeper to automatically backup your log after
each operating session to be sure you can recover if your log data gets corrupted.

I think the biggest problem with keeping your database on a cloud-based service is one of timing. When you shut DXKeeper down, a copy of your log is initially saved to your hard drive. It is then synchronized to your cloud-based service. You have to wait until the file is completely written to your cloud-based service before attempting any other actions. There may then be some time required for the file on your cloud-based service to synchronize with your second computer. At least that has been my experience. I am certainly not an expert at anything.
