DX Keeper Config. Application Pages

Mike All Messages By This Member #71879 Hi Group I have been a member of the group for quite sometime. have enjoyed reading about the shortcuts and fixes. Now I have a problem with my DX Keeper Config. Application Pages. When I click the Config. Button I do not see Config. Page. all I see is the Page Icon on the bottom in the Task Bar, which means I can not do my configs. I have tried to Deleate and re-install the DX Keeper program from the beginning and the same thing is still happening. All the rest of DX Lab Suite Programs work just fine. Richard B Drake All Messages By This Member #71883 Hi Mike, I take it from your description that you are using WinWarlber to generate CW rather than an external keyer such as the WinKey. Unfortunately, code generated by WinWarblerr is subject to CPU load and your computer's ability to handle it without encountering any processing delays. It sounds like your Laptop isn't quite up to the task and occasionally experiences a load that causes slight delays. I highly recommend the WinKey (www.k1el.com). This is supported by WinWarbler and generates it's own CW from the ASCII characters. Thus, it does not depend on your computers CPU to generate properly spaced dits and dahs. It's a relatively inexpensive kit that goes together in a couple of hours. The USB version has a built in USB to serial port converter and comes with the USB driver on CD that works with any version of Windows including the soon to be released Windows 7.
