Why does Command Interval (ms) value in General tab Commander Configuration often disappears?

I'm not changing transceivers yet almost every time I launch Commander the value set in Command interval (ms) disappeared.
Does anyone know why that is?

Re: Posting FT8 Spot

I¡¯m not looking for what frequency the station is transmitting on. ?The spots are showing the transmit frequency of the station posting the spot which doesn¡¯t help except to get me in the ball park of where I need to set the RX frequency. The issue comes into play when a station is not using the standard FT8 frequencies which is quite common with DXPeditions or some of the rarer DX stations. ?I have to manually enter the receive frequency using DXCommander in order to start decoding the station and then the transmit offset comes into play. ?If I only have the transmit frequency how do I know where to set the RX frequency to start decoding the DX station?
+ As described in?

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Help/SpotDatabase.htm#Selecting%20a%20Spot

"SpotCollector determines a?target frequency?by?comparing the Entry's frequency to the lower and upper bounds for the Entry's band and mode in the selected?.? If the Entry's frequency is between those bounds, then the the?target frequency?is that lower bound.? If the??file does not specify bounds for the Entry's band and mode, or if the Entry's frequency is not between the specified bounds, the?target frequency?is the Entry's frequency rounded down to the next lowest 1 kilohertz"
?
This really isn¡¯t for me since I don¡¯t need the spot. ?It is for others viewing the spot. ?
+ If that's the case, why must you "manually enter the receive frequency using DXCommander in order to start decoding the station"?

I see spots posted both ways and I much prefer when the RX frequency is posted. ?I can simply click on the spot and start decoding. ?If the transmit frequency is posted I have to guess where to set the RX frequency.
+ The DX Cluster Protocol is to spot the TX frequency of a station operating in split and (optionally) include the split or RX frequency in the spot notes.

Any ideas why the log is showing the RX frequency the same as the TX frequency? ? I use WSJTX in split mode.
+ When using the direct interoperation between WSJT-X and DXLab, DXKeeper is directed to log the TX frequency only. Based on your earlier comment that you are using JTAlert, I assume that JTAlert is directing DXKeeper to log both frequencies.

+ FT8 is a simplex mode. The fact that your transmitter's frequency may be offset to ensure a higher audio frequency is irrelevant to other stations seeking to work the station whose frequency you spot.?

+ Spotting the exact frequency of an FT8 station is less critical than when spotting a station operating in SSB, CW, or RTTY. Almost all FT8 ops use WSJT-X or a derivative of it, and thus need only the station's callsign and band; WSJT-X will report the station's frequency when it is next decoded.

I have backup folders/files saved at the following location: ?

This is a folder on a removable thumb drive.

About the application's affinity being transient. There is at least one way to set the affinity with DXLab Launcher. Here is the command line that I use to start WSJT-X in the Apps Started Before DXLab Apps tab:
?
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 0x7 C:\Users\Public\wsjtx_2_7_0\bin\wsjtx.exe
?

Hello, I changed my callsign and would like the QSOs I made with the old callsign to be counted. What do I need to do to do that?

+ None of the award tracking mechanisms in DXKeeper are sensitive to the "Operator Callsign" and "Owner Callsign" items logged with each QSO. Thus no action on your part is required.

Re: IOTA Chasers: the IOTA tag for FK8HM in QRZ is incorrect

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

That¡¯s not unusual. ?I¡¯ve run across quite a few erroneous IOTA tags in the QRZ database call details tab. ?Some are probably where an activator visited an island and intended to remove it after the activation, but forgot. ?One recent visitor to the Bahamas I worked thought he was on NA-113. ?He was close, but actually on NA-001. ?I¡¯ve tried to nicely point out those errors a couple times, but have mostly been ignored, so I stopped. ?I¡¯ve only recently begun compiling a short list of the ones I find.

Neither the BigCTY nor the ClubLog exception lists include an entry for FK8HM; thus, I suggest manually adding an entry to DXView's Override List specifying that FK8HM is in OC-032.
