23 coins represent the sports at the 1984 Olympics. The 24th coin represents the universal spirit of 1984 Olympics held in the City of Los Angeles.
?
In the original case, the 1 inch & 1/4" coins has a brass finish with a ribbed edge.The case is 11.5 inches long and 7 inches wide.
These are transit fare tokens from the RTD, that could have been used in 1984. There is a cardboard slide which is included but I left off package, as it appears to have caused some of the tear damage to the plastic cover of the case.
Photos are attached above. These Tokens were made 40 years of age.

Classic Atearn F-7b in ATSF Warbonnet

Your Backshop group owner here!? I have an offer to anyone interested.? I recently visited a second-hand shop down the street from me and found an Athearn F-7b in mint condition and painted for ATSF silver Warbonnet.? This unit has apparently only ever been test run and looks mint.? It is the next generation after metal truck sideframes and have the nicely detailed plastic with swing hangers and brake cylinders separately applied.? It is flywheel equipped with the flat side gold motor.? Obviously it is DC only right now.? It does lack couplers but does come in its original "blue box" by Athearn.? Normally, I would have ignored it but it was just too nice to see sit there (I'm doing large scale). Asking $35 + $5 for shipping.? Photo attached where you can see how little run-time the motor armature has had.? Wheels and everything else are spotless.? SJW |
