We are?pleased to announce the?launch?of the next grant cycle for Chancellor¡¯s Community Partnership Fund projects that will begin in the fall semester of 2019.?
In the 2019-20 grant cycle the CCPF will make approximately $290,000 in grants to innovative campus-community partnerships designed to improve the quality of life for Berkeley residents. Berkeley-based collaborative projects that focus on the arts and culture, community safety, economic development, environmental stewardship and education are encouraged to apply. Proposed projects must include at least?one university?and?one Berkeley community?partner.
All grants will be for one-year projects or programs. Education-related grants applicants are required to demonstrate that their project is aligned with and furthers the objectives of?the?.
The 2020 Vision is Berkeley¡¯s community-wide effort to end the racial disparities in academic achievement among children and youth in Berkeley. The 2020 Vision partners include: Berkeley Unified School District, the City of Berkeley, Berkeley City College, UC Berkeley and several community based organizations. More information about the 2020 Vision for Berkeley¡¯s Children and Youth will be provided at the mixer.
Applicants must complete a Pre-Application form (see attached) which is due?December 10, 2018 before 5 pm. Eligible projects must have at least one community partner and one university partner. UC Berkeley student organizations that are actively supported by a faculty or staff advisor, are encouraged to apply. For more information download the?and??(and see attached).
