The public is invited to?the Berkeley Historical Society's Holiday Open House & Book Sale. Visitors can shop?for new and used Berkeley history books, meet volunteers and other members, and enjoy refreshments such as hot cider and cookies. The event coincides with the Ecology Center Craft Fair in Civic Center Park.
While there, view our newest exhibit: "Building Bridges, Not Walls: Berkeley, America's First Sanctuary City," exploring?Berkeley’s humanitarian spirit and internationalism.?

The Berkeley History Center is in the Veterans Memorial Building, 1931 Center Street, Berkeley. History Center hours are 1-4 PM, Thursday through Saturday. Admission is free (donations welcome); wheelchair accessible.
