The battery on my DH¡¯s 5S is running down too fast to be useable. I usually pass down my old iPhone when I update. However, my 7 has a cracked screen and also has experienced accelerated battery drain since iOS 13.
It would cost $200 to get an Apple replacement for the screen on the 7. Since it has been running down too fast lately, it seems nuts to spend so much on it only to give him a phone with problems.
He doesn¡¯t use his phone for much more than calls, messages and Safari. Any suggestions about what model would work for him for a few years and not be crazy expensive? He¡¯s not interested in the ¡°latest/greatest.¡±
