Re: T-41Vented case?
I wonder if you have a temperature related continuity problem with the Teensy pins rather than a processor problem.? I don't have a fan on my v11 and the processor runs without problem at mid-40s.

Re: T41 tests
Nice find, when I got drugged kicking into Microwave builds I latched onto a nice HP SG 2-13 GHZ. Has been instrumental in setting up MW horns and such. I use TG in SA but I don't trust it as I would

Re: T-41Vented case?
I am using Justin's metal case with a decent size Noctura fan. The venting is minimal. I notice if the temp display gets much over 40C the processor will hang up. With top off I see around 36-37

It will only be 18dB when loaded by 50¦¸ resistive on both ends.? Other terminations will yield different results. 73, Don N2VGU

Re: T-41Vented case?
The holes, as long as their circumference is less than ¦Ë/4, will not affect the shielding properties. Compare the holes in your microwave oven door, which operates at 2450MHz without leakage, to

Another update from the beginners lab
Friends Thanks for the input on the 20 W amp waveform distortion. After some trial and error I finally came up with a 56 ohm / 430 ohm / 56 ohm Pad attenuator that yielded the following waveform and a

Re: T-41Vented case?
I don't see any problem. Many of us are using 3D printed cases, which offer no shielding whatsoever. Just clean it off and give it a good paint job. I built a linear in a wraparound cabinet originally

T-41Vented case?
I'm curious what your thoughts are for vented cases for the T41. I have a case from a non functional? Swan 500cx HF transceiver. Every side but the front panel has the 3.75mm round holes. I could 3d

Re: [SoftwareControlledHamRadio] Front panel matrix
As long as its consistent... it should not matter... I designed the LPF for this set (which is the Kenwood/ Elecraft/ Yaesu/ etc. standard): But somehow that got twisted. These standards are important
