They have been making very good acoustic guitars in Mexico for a very very long time; there¡¯s a substantial home market for them. My 2010 Jetta TDI Sportwagen was made in Mexico and it¡¯s proven really well made; The most expensive repairs I've had done (other than fixing the cheater diesel issue, for which VW gave me back ?rd of the original cost) has been a front ball joint that was replaced prophylactically because of a torn boot on the joint probably let grit into it. Remove the power transformer from the microwave and discard the rest of it.? All you need is the transformer.? There are several articles on ?¡°youTube¡± about how to make a very nice and simple low-cost spot welder from these basic materials.? Johannes 9:20am? ? ? My quest is not direct to a 7x12, however, it is close to EDM ? For next Christmas I have to connect many 2 mm iron strings together, in all directions 1) If you using EDM to remove tap you broke in the mini lathe it is related.? 2) Now if doing machine using EDM and not using a mini lathe it is not related? I only want to tap removal that mini lathe broke Dave |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý? My quest is not direct to a 7x12, however, it is close to EDM ? For next Christmas I have to connect many 2 mm iron strings together, in all directions. I can made 1 mm holes and screw or nail them together, I have done it on my protos. Soldering is also an alternative, however, not my favorite. The wires are in tension, so when I start soldering the second spot, the first (#¡è%¡è#) ? So I am asking for advice to shop a small ¡°welder¡± for 2 mm iron wire. Only 500 ¡°welding¡± connections. ? /johannes Mexico ? PS this subject is total new for me. ? ?

Peter Way 8:37am? ? There are great EDM videos on YouTube. The circuit is simpleAll I want EDM is for removing small taps that broke in the mini lathe. I have seen simple manufacturer machines the using tap water just for removal of taps Dave? |

The erosive effect of electrical discharges was first noted in 1770 by English physicist Joseph Priestley. EDM was for machining around the 1940's . Before the 1940's they used sand / grit and ground down the part.?? I do not know about tap removal the first ad I found was in 1950's. It is downloaded section.?? Dave? Craig Hopewell 6:51am? ? People are making machines out of 3D printers.? ?It seems to be 10% EDM process, 90% Not killing yourself.? ?If you work hard enough, you can get that pesky tap out and have a fabulous machining rig. |
